Live Life to the Full
Because we are all individuals
Life at Longforth House is just as individual as the people who live here.

We pride ourselves in the high standard of Support that we provide. We believe that by actively involving our residents in the running of our Home and seeking residents ‘and family comments feedback through regular meetings, we can provide a happy and comfortable environment for our residents.
Our team aims to promote a sense of well being within residents by encouraging independence and good physical, mental and emotional health.

Don't just sit there
There's nothing worse than having nothing to do. Residents are encouraged to continue to pursue passions and hobbies where practical and to explore new interests if the fancy takes them.

We have an award winning Activities Coordinator who schedules our own full and diverse activities programme, including visiting entertainers, Gym Classes, visits to the beach and to the cinema to see the latest hit.
If there is something you particularly want to try, we will do our best to make it happen, we want you to enjoy yourself, to be happy and fulfilled.
Enriching lives with our food
We encourage residents to take their meals in the dinning room where residents can eat together and socialise in a relaxing environment, but understand that residents may wish to enjoy food when and where they choose to have it.
Our trained staff understand the importance of eating well and staying hydrated and supporting residents to enjoy food in their environment.

Meals at Longforth House are freshly prepared by our experienced chefs. Menus vary from week to week and favourite dishes and special dietary requirements can be catered for.
Residents are also encouraged to cook their own meals and meals for others with one to
one support from support staff.

A selection of hot and cold drinks are served and available 24 hrs a day.

Hair Salon
Longforth House boasts a mini hair salon where our hairdresser visits on a regular basis to provide hair dressing services to the residents.

Residents can relax and have their hair done and socialise with fellow residents.
