Quality Care by Professionals you can Trust

Types of Care

Longforth House is a specialised residential unit for individuals under 65 who have a diagnosis of dementia or lower mental health need that requires similar care and support.

Most of our residents are permanent but we also offer short-term care for those needing some respite.  Longforth House also operates a day care programme.  Respite and Day care are excellent ways of seeing what is on offer before making a decision to come in to the home permanently and often works as a useful way of familiarising yourself with the different aspects of the home.

We welcome both residents who are self-funding and those receiving financial support.
