Meet our Carers

At Longforth House we recognise that our care staff are our greatest assets.  Staff at Longforth House are friendly, welcoming and fully trained; most of the staff have worked at Longforth House for years and are local to the area.   

Chris Church

Registered Manager

Chris is the Registered Manager for both Wellington House and Longforth House and has been in post since May 2015.

​

Chris joined Wellington House as a senior carer in 2006 and moved over to our Longforth House unit for its opening in September 2007.  Through hard work and commitment, he took over as the Registered Manager of Wellington and Longforth House in 2015.

​

Chris has completed his Health and Social Care Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications and has also achieved his A1 assessor and Registered Manager's award. 

​

Chris was runner up in the Care Ambassador Award for Care Focus in 2013,  Chris came third in the Best Frontline Leader Award for the Great British Care Awards in 2013 and then won the Excellence in Leadership for Care Focus in 2014.      

​

In his spare time Chris enjoys cycling, running and spending time with family and friends. 

 

In April 2019, he and a friend cycled from John O’Groats to Land’s End raising money for Hope for Tomorrow (a local cancer treatment charity).

Sharon Roswell

Deputy Manager

Sharon has worked in Wellington House since June 2014.

 

Sharon began her career in care in 2004 working in a nursing home where she completed her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.  She then moved direction and worked with children for a number of years where she achieved her Level 4 in Health and Social Care and became a Registered Manager in a childrens unit.

 

Sharon soon came back to her passion of working with the elderly, starting with us as a carer, then senior and then joined the management team in April 2016. 

​

In her spare time Sharon likes to spend time with her family, gardening and reading. 

Tshana Rosa Trivella 

Longforth House Unit Manager

Tshana is the unit Manager of Longforth House, Longforth House is a 10 bedded care home adjacent to Wellington House  specialising  in early onset dementia and mental health needs for individuals under 65. 

​

Tshana joined our team in June 2014 as a Senior Carer in Wellington House, from which she spent 12 months before transferring over to our Longforth House to start her managers training.  

​

Tshana started her career in health and social care when she was 18.  She first started in a Nursing and Dementia care specialist home where she completed her Health and Social Care NVQ level 2, after this she moved to Wellington House where she completed her Health and Social Care NVQ level 3. 

​

Tshana is now completing her Health and Social Care Leadership qualification and self-development training.  

​

In her spare time Tshana’s hobbies include cinema, socialising and spending time with her family.
